paper*ink studio founder Le Vu is a multifaceted artist. In addition to a Bachelors degree in Urban Studies and City Planning and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, she studied photography, oil painting, art history, ceramics, letterpress and silk-screen printing. All of these endeavors helped nourish her desire to explore the expression of art and imagination through multiple mediums. Le’s work mirrors her minimalist nature and devotion to clean lines and simplicity. Her fascination with color, text and composition through graphic design led to the creation of paper*ink studio. Though she continues to practice architecture, paper*ink provides an immediate creative outlet that helps Le balance her professional and personal interests.
Le currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her critical, but kind, husband (a fellow architect) and their two young, energetic boys. Together, they provide plenty of color to her life, inspiring her work and helping paper*ink studio flourish.
